Respite care is designed to give residents carers or family member(s) an opportunity to take a holiday or simply spend some time looking after their own needs, whilst having the peace of mind that their loved ones are well looked after in a care setting with 24 hours-a-day support. It can also be used by individuals who are looking for a short period of additional support from qualified healthcare professionals.
Also referred to as a short stay, respite care is a temporary living arrangement in a care home and can range from a few days to a few weeks based on the individual’s needs.
Respite packages are tailored to individuals needs and will be discussed at the point of booking. We are able to offer a range of care services depending on the individuals need. Our home is your home for the duration of respite and we encourage our residents to join in any activities that they fancy for the duration of their stay.
